Agent Clark Stimboard
I am surprised I had not made one for him yet. I love him.

Can someone please tell me the “at” of Wanda Childa? We have been trying to find her for months.
If Fig ends up following through on Zara’s advice to make a promise to herself that she would never break, I strongly suspect that it would be something along the lines of “I promise to always look out for my family, my friends, and my paramour.”
Fig Faeth is my favorite Dimension 20 character, and one of my favorite characters ever for a reason. She started out as the stereotype of the abrasive punk rocker, and almost immediately became a character that not only obviously deeply cared about everyone around her, but was really good at doing that. She took the time to make lasting friendships, stitch together families that needed each other and tear apart those that were harmful, and somehow took herself from zero positive parental relationships to about four. Come junior year, and she’s the only Bad Kid to still be with the same partner as they were in sophomore year (unless you count Riz with being based).
However, I think that even if dedication to loved ones is a promise that Fig can confidently make to herself, it’s not the promise that she needs to or should make. I am of the opinion that the absolute healthiest promise Fig can make to herself, that isn’t even mutually exclusive with the aforementioned one, is “to look out for Fig.” Fig states outright that she thinks she’s really good at being “a really good friend.” She keeps hiding her identity, and even if she treasures her ability to kiss Ayda while being herself, she still has issues with being true to herself (See: Agent Clark). She’s even a bard, a class defined by both deception (neglecting the self) and supporting others (in many cases, neglecting the self), and a warlock, a class defined by fighting for others (can be neglecting the self), but also gaining power from the love and trust others have for you (a strong support system, something Fig has given to a lot of people and definitely deserves to have one for herself). Fhjy shows Fig leaning away from bard classes into warlock classes, which I think is a foreshadowing of better things to come for her. The most poetic instance of this in my opinion is when she took Gilear’s curse, thus giving him good luck, and used it to save the Bad Kids. This was the ultimate example of sacrificing oneself, and I think it’s high-time Fig Faeth promised herself the same love and dedication she has given to so many others.
Ok... Rewatching this season has been interesting.
What's up with Agent Clark? I've been thinking that he's mostly just a bit to catch Fig doing a bunch of shenanigans, but this line caught me off guard:
"It's all fun and games until doppelgangers come and burn your nest."
Because Brennan specifically calls this out, after the shenanigans where they ignore the rest of the speech, I wonder if we're going to come across doppelgangers now. Anyone could be anyone.
Hmmm... I see you Mr. Mulligan. Thinking that little lines like this are going to go unnoticed from your "this is myself insert NPC because of all of the Fig shenanigans" character.
