Agender Chat - On Now!
Today’s chat runs on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM EDT, also known as 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM BST, or Sunday, August 8 from 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM AEST.
aThis week’s topic: Gender (or lack thereof) and personal style
There's no one way to "look" nonbinary, but for many of us our sense of gender and our style preferences interlock in unique ways. How does expressing yourself through style work for you? How does gender (or lack thereof) fit in, if at all?

Celebrating TDOV
Today is Transgender Day of Visibility, a day for celebrating our authenticity, our bravery, our resilience. Sometimes authenticity, bravery, and resilience look like being out, loud, and proud. But sometimes those things are quiet - small acts of rebellion, little affirming actions, private positive affirmations. As simple as looking in the mirror and practicing liking what you see. So remember that TDOV is for all of trans people, whether we’re out right now or not. Whether we’ll ever be out or not.
Regardless of our own personal situations, we can honor one other and celebrate the progress society is making toward radical acceptance of everyone - slowly, oh too slowly, but still moving forward. Representation that is starting to become more common and mainstream in media. Many more conversations about intersectionality and universal liberation are happening now compared to just a few years ago. We’ve come so far.
We still have far to go. For USA folks, here’s one link with information about recently proposed state laws that negatively impact trans people, and ways to raise your voice and take action to prevent them becoming law. If you have information about current civil rights actions to protect trans lives, please send them our way and we’ll boost the info.
Today, let pride lift you up. Today, know that you are part of the lineage of strong trans people who came before you. Know that you are an trans ancestor of the future, only now in the making. Stand tall. This world is ours too.

Agender Chat - On Now!
Today’s chat runs on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 11:30 PM - 12:30 AM (next day) EDT, also known as Wednesday April 21, from 4:30 AM - 6:30 AM BST and 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM AEST.
This week’s topic: Privilege and Intersectionality
As agender and/or nonbinary people, many of us experience marginalization because of that part of our identities. Simultaneously, some of us hold forms of privilege because of other aspects of our identities and backgrounds (like race and class, for instance). How can we each practice allyship for people who experience marginalization differently than we do?
