These photos were taken recently although refer to the beginning brainstorm sessions of the collection. From gaining vocal points from feedback from Tracy and exploring those points that were initially conveyed in an attempt to listen to what i truly believe i have to say and what my work says. I was able to write down and record what I wanted from the collection as in the outcomes of the collection. Looking back and reflecting on this initial outset of goals i have been able to identify where the execution of ideas failed or the work that was necessary to achieve these intended goals that was missing during the process. Again the entire process is a thing that is continual within my career as a designer and i will continue to improve on the execution of future ideas from all that i have been able to achieve within this collection. There is research conducted on the possible materials and methods i could employ to source these fabrications. This was a major key in terms of sourcing the most sustainable fabrications possible. Research was performed to identify the competitors within the current market and the initiatives that were already in place. It was super interesting to identify the players and initiatives within the industry to really understand the current landscape of sustainability and shed light on the major voids within this landscape. Identifying what the collection’s purpose was and how it should be conveyed was also recorded among these pictures of my notes.
