3. More than a Classroom!
Agricultural and Extension Education students have receive and long list of opportunities following graduation. Most graduates choose to apply for a teaching position, but not all. In fact, according to the Teach Ag! Campaign of the 675 Agricultural and Extension Education (AEE) graduates from last year 469 are currently employed as teachers. But AEE graduates also find themselves involved another one of the nations youth development organizations... 4-H! Extension Agents help mold 4-H youth into the leaders of tomorrow. 4-H.org tells us that in 2012, more than 500,000 young people were involved in 4-H. Better yet, 4-H is GLOBAL! 4-H can be found in over 70 countries.
The opportunities are endless for Agriculture and Extension Education students! Positive agents of change are found in more than just a classroom!

4. A long line of supporters...
If you watched the Superbowl then you certainly witnessed it... It was the coolest commercial since sliced bread! Which one you ask... Dodge Ram's "So God Made A Farmer." A commercial that tells the stories of our worlds finest; the farmer. Calling for appreciation for those that grow our food and work hours longer than any other occupation. It displayed America's simple beauty and best of all, supports nothing less than the FUTURE OF AGRICULTURE! Every view of this fine commercial helps Dodge raise money for the National FFA Organization.
Dodge has chosen to support Agricultural Education and support the future of agriculture. Dodge is just one of the MANY sponsors and supporters behind Agricultural Education.
Agricultural Educators are not alone. A long line of individuals follow them, encouraging them to continue to pursue and inspire tomorrow's farmers and agriculturalists to "keep plowing."

5. Travel!
Agricultural Educators work on an incredible team of individuals, these teams include national organizations that allow teachers to come together to share and learn from each other. These organizations allow educators to travel; travel throughout their state, around the nation and possibly across the globe!
Even as we speak Agricultural Educators are meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2013 National Agriculture Education Summit! Great ideas are forming in Indy!
