Professor Lupin blinked and stood up straight. Sirius had to tilt his head slightly to make eye contact with him– unusual, since Sirius himself wasn’t particularly short. “Regulus Black was my student a few years ago. A relation of yours, I’m assuming.”

Sirius gnawed on his lip. “This is going to sound weird,” he said carefully, “but… Was he nice? Did he seem like a good person? From whatever you knew of him?”

Cocking his head, Professor Lupin smiled. “He was quiet. Diligent. Wrote excellent essays and did exceptionally well academically. I’m afraid I don’t know much more, seeing as he was my student for less than a year. He did seem nice, though, yes.”

Sirius nodded quickly. “That’s… That’s good. I don’t supose you know of any way I might be able to contact him?”

so. i have some mixed feelings let me try and get them down. i like age gap wolfstar, but it isn't something i would look for to read. it wouldn't put me off reading either, not at all, BUT there's basically only one trope (trope?) that i don't like and that's like really pronounced unequal power dynamics. it's just never been my thing, and the two most popular versions of this i've seen are prince and servant or professor and student. i don't mind them in fluffy oneshots but anything more than that i probably wouldn't read, and therefore, i don't think i would write it either? so being completely honest, i think probably not, sorry! (absolutely no hate on age gap/professor remus fics!!!!! i just have a thing about power dynamics!!!!)
