Well, okay, I’m not proud of anything I’ve written. Not really. I have a bad habit of hating something once I’ve posted it, but I am trying to get rid of that insecurity, so here we go! I’m just going to post things I’ve never published instead...

No, her anger and general despondency were mostly internalized, and this granted her the perfect and ever-enlightened disposition to be something great. Something dynamic. Something infamous.

Yeah, she was an internet troll.

Sooo, sometimes I write these “comedic” stories about random things like being a troll or a Nigerian prince who needs your money, and I always want to publish them but get too scared. So I just kind of write and edit them on the side and chuckle away alone... Sigh. They’re mostly self-indulgent kind of prose anyway. Like too wordy to be digested well.

For my second example (because whateva I’m posting tons):

Skyhold is the type of place that everyone says “Oh, that’s nice…” if you tell them you live there. They automatically try to change the subject because it’s such a gross and decrepit place to live, and the general pity they feel for you is too overwhelming for them to actually form any further sentences about it. Everything in Skyhold is dirty and broken, and the walls are so thin that you can hear someone typing on a keyboard in the next room (Varric, can you type any louder?). That is, of course, assuming that the loud music from your neighbor doesn’t drown it out.

I’ve written quite a few DA:I AUs because heyyyy, they’re my crack! I’ve never posted the one I have the most feelings about though, but it’s a modern study abroad/international exchange AU. I really love it because I actually fleshed out my Lavellan, it’s not centered around a Solas romance, and Corypheus is one of the main characters! Basically, I was really proud of myself. I developed a whole Dalish “modern slang” and it was really humorous (like Overloaded).

I wouldn’t say it’s well-written, but it’s definitely something I like reading back, so I guess that counts for something.
