When I read some of the trilogy I remember he used her, made a bet to take her virginity away and then never told her the entire truth. I also remember the constant fighting and then to make up for the fighting they would have sex. That's not a relationship is supposed to work, a relationship is communication not have sex all the time. He manipulates her and then uses her, so do not tell me it's just a love story where she fixes him. Because you cannot fix the core of anyone, fixing human nature is impossible.
