oh back on the topic of how are they gonna share patterns in this game, maybe a QR you can scan with a phone app? nintendo seems to be getting into phone apps lately

I'm a little nervous about patterns because of the resolution mis-match problem, like you said, and also because of the question of sharing (no Switch camera). Is it possible they could have taken pattern-making out? :/ But it was such a big part of NL in particular, so I feel like they wouldn't... Maybe they will enable sharing through the Nook phone
oh I could definitely see pattern sharing being added to the nook phone now that you mention it. we’ll probably get numerical codes for them I think, & maybe an ability to search by name. one thing I mentioned a few months back in regards to the idea of an in-game pattern catalogue is the possibility to tag your patterns with themes? like formal, sporty, cute, fantasy, etc as well as being able to search by pattern type (dresses, shirts, w/e). this is all super speculation though

If you have custom firmware like Luma, you can use the app called Checkpoint to back up saves of Wild World on your SD card. Then you can edit your town with something called Animal Map. If you google "animal map wild world" or something like that, you should be able to find information about it. :) DS to DS connection works too!
