This was a bad idea. She knew it was a bad idea, but it didn't stop her. Once she caught word of the festival, she knew she had to go. Nido followed closely behind her, her dress in his teeth. He hadn't let her go since they walked past the first set of booths. Skarmory flew overhead. He also didn't trust the situation. Personally, she thought the two of them were overreacting. Chances of her Papa, or anyone who would recognize her, being at this festival were slim. "Nido!" She whispered. "Stop tugging at my dress!"
The three of them continued walking down the many rows. People were everywhere, many of them had Pokemon close by. Music filled the air. It was truly an amazing sight.
As the crowd grew larger, Grace's anxiety started to rise. She didn't think the festival would be this busy. Maybe her companions were right. They shouldn't be here. She pulled up the hood of her cloak, covering her head and most of her face. Her hair laid flat, the long strands clinging against her skin.
Spotting a dark corner on the other side of the crowd, Grace started to make her way. Her shoulders bumped against others, but she continued to push through. Murmuring apologies as she went. Nido continued to cling to her dress, following her every step.
Safely tucked away in the corner, Grace continued to watch the festival. She wished that she could participate, but it wasn't worth the risk of being sent back home. If that happened.. Her father would never let her leave again. Her dream was worth too much.
Nido climbed up on the crate that Grace was hiding behind. He also watched the festival, eyeing the many Pokemon, making sure none of them were a threat to Grace. After making a complete circle around the festival, Skarmory also joined her. Perching next to Nido.
