As you lock up your apartment building with one hand, you work your scarf around your neck with the other, making sure the oversized fabric looks chic instead of tired. While walking down the corridor, you take the umbrella out of your backpack, in preparation for the rain falling outside. You exit the building, walking out to enjoy the city en route to your destination, the coffee house. The cold air is unable to penetrate your many layers of jackets, jumpers and vests, so you walk around the cold city with a warm heart. Rain has accumulated in puddles on the walkway, and they look so good you can’t help but splash a foot through them, a childish giggle emitted unconsciously. As your turning the corner to the shop you found during one of your first explorations of the city, the rain suddenly gets heavier. You decide to make a run for the shop, envisioning a hot chocolate in your hand as incentive. As you dash through the door, you quickly shake off the rain from the brollie. You turn to the counter and look at the menu, although you already know what you are going to order. A hot chocolate.
