9, 5, and 1!
1) What fictional characters have inspired your aesthetic?
Clara Oswald, the Twelfth Doctor, Cinderella, and Sarah Williams.
5) How has your aesthetic changed (or not changed) over the years?
It has changed, a lot more than I realized, over these past few years. Its changed because I used to have nothing but purple and black colors around my room, and style, and even a bunch of indoor Halloween docor from Michael’s Craft Store throughout my room. Now I’m leaning towards greys and blues, with dashes of red, owls in several mediums, and a lot of paintings (especially space and travel related.) My aesthetic is now more space, travel, and owls (and their palettes) than blacks and Halloween like before.
9) What is your first memory of trying to establish a sense of fashion or aesthetic for yourself?
I can’t remember the year, but I think it was right around the time Ashley Tisdale’s Headstrong came out. At the time, I was determined to dress like her and even look like (despite the fact that I was too young for both.) I vividly remember looking up blogs that gave info of the pieces that she wore as the first time of me trying to establish a sense of fashion like her and in general.
Arguably, I also remember trying to establish my own style by layering clothes (despite, uh, not being fully grown enough for it, if you know what I mean) and wearing headbands back in the seventh grade.
Aesthetical Asks!
