[ID: A two page comic adaption of the ‘Fox and the Crow’ fable by Aespo.

Page 1, Panel 1: A crow flies above with a piece of cheese in her beak and  the fox stands below with one paw raised, looking up at her.

Panel 2: The crow continues her trajectory across a third panel. A line trailing behind her suggests she flew in a loop.

Panel 3: The crow has now landed on the branch of a pine tree.

Panel 4: The fox looks straight at the read and drools. This panel has been block coloured in so that the fox is orange with a white chest and cheeks. The ground is green and has some grass and flowers growing in patches. The sky is blue.

Panel 5: This panel sits in the righthand corner of the previous panel and is a cut out showing the crow surveying the land with the cheese still in her beak. The cheese is a small wheel with a slice having been cut out. It is also block coloured and the crow is a purple that is almost black, with a lighter colour for her beak. The cheese is a yellowish white.

Panel 6: The fox looks up to where the crow sits and his stomach begins to grumble.

Panel 7: The fox still looking upwards but now sitting, calls out to the crow and a speech bubble says “O Mrs. Crow!”. A different tree stands in the foreground on the right side of the panel, obscuring the rest of the view.

Panel 8: This is a closeup of the foxes face at a three quarter angle. He speaks with the first bubble being filled with pink diamonds suggesting gilded words. The second bubble reads “Sing! and they will surely proclaim you Queen of the Birds!”.

Panel 9: This panel is another cut out in the bottom right corner of the previous one. In it Mrs Crow imagines herself as Queen, and an imaginary golden crown appears on her head. It is also block coloured in much the same way as the previous cut out.

Page 2, Panel 10: Here we see a larger view of the crow with more details on her feathers. She still holds the cheese with lines suggesting waves of its smell wafting of it. She begins to puff out her chest, breathing in.

Panel 11:  Here we see her from a distance, atop her tree again. Three speech bubbles are filled with musical notes as she sings, unknowingly dropping her piece of cheese which plummets to the ground.

Panel 12: The cheese lands on the forest floor with a “Thud!”. It is surrounded by leaves and roots as well as a single worm that hurries away.

Panel 13: We now get a wider shot of the cheese which now lies on its side.  In addition to its other surroundings there is an acorn and another worm to its right. The clawed paw of the fox drops from the top of the panel, about to seize the cheese.

Panel 14: He picks up the cheese and smells it. The cheese is on the right of the panel and fills the space between itself and the fox with lines of cheesy odour and the the fox relaxes, a look of pleasure and contentment across his face.

Panel 15: This panel cuts back to Mrs. Crow who lets out a loud “GASP!”  on the right and has a look of anger across her face. A speech bubble coming from the bottom left says “Word of Advice Mrs. Crow,”.
