122516 | Setting my goals for next year on Christmas day 💗 hope y'all stay gucci w your studies during the holidays!!! (but also spend time with your family & take a break!!!)
I Cannot Stress Enough How Important It Is To...
1. Talk about what's stressing you out. It's good to really know what's getting you stressed and having someone there to see things from a different perspective.
2. Know that you aren't a burden when you talk about your problems to other people. Find the right person – a friend, relative, teacher, etc. – and talk to them.
3. Have time for yourself. Know yourself inside out. It's okay to take a break from the world once in a while. If you're already doing this, good job. If you aren't, why don't you give it a try?
4. Enjoy your own company. Sometimes people wont be there, and if you're not used to that, certain thoughts might kick in. Breathe and relax. It's not sad if you're caught eating alone in a restaurant
5. Not take other people’s opinion of you personally. It’s merely constructive. Say thank you, and grow from it. If it is inaccurate, ignore and move on.
6. Forget your past mistakes, but not to ignore the lesson it gives you. Don’t dwell on these too much. It’s good to look back and learn from what happened, but do not to regret it.
7. Know that it’s okay to have an off day sometimes. We wont get things right all the time and that’s okay! You don’t have to feel down about it. Get up and say, “I will do this better next time.”
8. Eat right. Eating fewer meals wont make you thinner, it’ll only make you weaker. Eat the right amount of food for the activity you have to do that day. More athletic activities require more energy. Lazy days, though require less energy, still need nutrients for your body to function.
9. Exercise when you can. No, you don’t have to go running everyday, or do yoga in the mornings. Unless you already do these things, don’t force yourself to do things your body is not used to doing. Take it one step at a time.
10. Focus on the now. What is needed for next week, doesn’t have to stress you out now. What is needed for today and tomorrow is what you should be focusing on. Don’t let the quality of your work suffer from something that wont be needed till a much later date.
11. Be present. In all your endeavors, interact, socialize. Talk to people, ask them about their day. This coincides with the previous advise, do not think of anything else besides what you are doing if you have already planned it beforehand. Other things can wait.
12. Do the things you love. Work/School/etc. will not be worth it if it’s something you don’t love. Even if it’s a hobby, continue doing it. Find time for these things and keep yourself happy.
I’ve been watching Scarlet Heart Ryeo for the past few days...does that count as learning Korean ㅠㅠ

Possible trip?!
My friend’s mom messaged me this morning that she would book me a trip to Korea/Japan with her daughter as a birthday gift and I am beyond excited! I’ve been learning Korean on and off this entire year and I hope to finish learning the basics by the time we leave (if it’s any time soon).
(also, did I mention that I love k-pop?? hahah finally time for me to meet them!!!)
