5 years celebrating the amendment to the Maternity Act in Ireland. #advovacy #volunteers. April 2016, Irish Premature Babies began working to change the maternity act so that mother's of preterm babies only began their maternity leave when their baby is discharged. This work undertaken by the charity was done by volunteers. They wanted mother's to enjoy their maternity leave in full at home. Me and some special friends on PBAD.....at the event that didn't want to Promote us. We went anyways to show every one that there we are not just Pit Bulls, we are Just Dogs....dressing up and having fun like every other breed. On a side note Me and Leo are both CGC and Therapy Dog Certified and Jade and Leo's brother are both in training.
