Maya hummed a tune to herself as she circled the aisles. Usually her outings towards hobby shops were reserved for window shopping. Today was different though, kind of. Sure she didn’t exactly have pocket money to spend, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t bask in the splendor that was the newest limited edition steel samurai figure. Any moment now the cashier would come out from behind the back door with the long awaited statue and put it up on display! 

The sound of the door opening was faint, but she heard it as loud as if it had been slammed. She rushed out from behind a row of books only to slam right into what she could’ve only described as a wall of red.
