𝐍𝐞𝐰 #𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 🗿 ⁣ This was the first Titan Stone my players discovered at the start of our 2-year long (currently ongoing) campaign. At the time, the sentient stone was in the possession of a hill giant that was recruiting nearby goblins, orcs, gnolls, and other hostile creatures to launch an attack on the small village of Parnast. Baad Fruul was able to persuade the masses to join his ranks because he had come into the possession of a Headband of Intellect (interesting combo for a hill giant😂). ⁣ This story arc was a variation of an #AdventuresLeague module that I made some modifications to. If you scroll back in my post history far enough you can actually see some shots of the final showdown with Baad Fruul and the invasion of Parnast! • • • 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 ⁣ 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥’𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫.  You can transfer the stone’s magic to a non-magical item — a weapon or a suit of armor — by tracing the haug rune there with your finger. The transfer takes 8 hours of work that requires the two items to be within 5 feet of each other. At the end, the quartz is destroyed, and the rune appears in dirt on the chosen item, which gains a benefit based on its form: ⁣ 🗡𝗪𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧. This weapon is infused with the power of the hill giants. The weapon hungers deeply and is relentless in its attacks. Once per short/long rest, you can activate the weapon for 1 minute, allowing you to make an additional attack with it as a bonus action on each of your turns. ⁣ 🛡𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 #𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 🗿 ⁣ You have heard rumors of a long forgotten ancient treasure chest hidden within a cave on the western side of the Greypeak Mountain Range. With unspoiled lands ripe with game and crop, the area is notorious for being riddled with giants. ⁣ As you travel to the western side of the mountain, it comes to no surprise that a hill giant has taken up residence within the cave. Upon further investigation, you learn that he is accompanied by a pet black bear; but something is strange... ⁣ 🤔Although the surrounding area confirms their presence, the tracks from both the hill giant and black bear are much smaller than you would expect. After preparing and buffing up the party, together you enter the cave, ready for the battle ahead. ⁣ Sneakily heading into the cave, you get the drop on your unsuspecting foes! To your surprise, both the hill giant and and black bear are shrunken down to 1/4 their normal size but still attacking with the full strength of a normal hill giant. ⁣ Upon slaying the tiny but mighty hill giant, he instantly reverts to his true size. The cat-sized black bear instantly cowers in fear and submits. The collar she wears contains a tiny tag with the name "Blooddrinker" etched into it and you find her to be quite sweet and eager to be adopted by a new family. ⁣ Although you gained a new companion, to your dismay you find the treasure gone and instead a note that reads, "Feeling small now? Courtesy of Clan True-Nimbus of the Clouds." • • • This is the story of the very first session with my 2 year campaign. This rendition on an #AdventuresLeague module sent us on a journey that lives on to this day!
