A disastrous quest 

A recipe for disaster as told by 18 people on the run : 

You have a prince who is presumed dead 

A warrior who is accused of assassinating said prince 

four nobles who learnt the truth and want to help their prince 

Four bodyguards who did not sign up for this 

Two vigilantes here to help their friends 

two morally grey pirates,here for the chaos

two mercenaries, who wanted a challenge 

an assassin and an another warrior, here for moral support 

Add in a highly dangerous, half-finished invention that can either save a lot of people or kill them, that they need to bring to a scientist in the neighbouring kingdom,

And a dark organization willing to take any means necessary to stop them.

Yep,that's a recipe for disaster.
