Velvety bunny rescue! Prue was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services by her owners because they were traveling outside the country. Poor Prue’s nails were severely overgrown when she arrived at the shelter, and she was very confused about what was happening to her. Hamilton Animal Services had Prue spayed and they made her available for adoption. Nobody came forward to adopt Prue, and with more and more rabbits coming in, the shelter asked us for help. Thankfully, we were able to get Prue out of the shelter and into a loving, bunny-experienced foster home. Prue is loving all the space she now has. She’s a very friendly rabbit, and she loves cuddling. She’s a gem of a bunny! Prue has a vet visit coming up to be sure she’s healthy enough to be made available for adoption.
