1. ACTIVITY

We all love roleplaying, but the monster known as Real Life can get in the way of things. After three days of inactivity, the main page will send you a message. If you do not respond within 24 hours, your role will be opened again. If it was due to some unforeseen complication (a family emergency, medical issue, etc.), then your role will be given back to you and all will be forgiven.

Otherwise, the role will be opened and you will have to reapply for the character if you still want it. You can only do this once.

If at any time you wish to leave the roleplay, please message the main page.

2. PARAS

This is one form of interaction. Paras are written in third person from your character's perspective. It's a legitimate piece of writing, so no texting slang and no dialogue without quotation marks. This is a really good way to get inside a character's head and preferable if your character is trying to hide something or has trouble with expressing emotions in conversation (*cough* Spock prefers this *cough*). Spock, you know we love you.

3. DRAMA

IC drama makes things really fun, interesting, and gives way for a lot of good character development. We really encourage it as drama allows us to explore our characters and tap into their thoughts at the lowest of times.

However, OOC drama will not be tolerated. If we see anyone making posts about another mun that are less than satisfactory, I will personally jettison you off of my ship. There will be consequences and the most severe will be immediate expulsion and a permanent ban from the group.

If you receive anon hate, please inform one of the admins/the main page know about it. Also, please don't send anon hate to anyone. It's not cool.

4. GOD-MODDING

Please do not God-mod. Your character is yours and yours alone. Do not control anyone else’s character unless you have been given permission. In that case, yeah, you're good.

5. PLOT

Any big plot twists need to be approved by the admins. That includes storylines that could trigger people, major changes to your character, and anything that could affect other characters.

6. STAY IN CHARACTER

This RP takes place directly after Star Trek Into Darkness. It should stay canon and as IC as possible. Of course, there will be a little leeway seeing as character development is delicious. Stay within some boundaries though, so no giving Chekov five arms.

7. INTERACTIONS

This is crucial: please interact with everyone. Yes, we all love our ships and can’t wait to play then out, but it’s no fun if you only talk to them. Create friendships and enemies. That’s what RPing is all about! Also, don’t rush into your OTPs/Endgame Ships right away. It keeps drama going and makes the roleplay more fun. Plus, everyone is really nice. :)

8. TAGGING

Tag your posts. It makes tracking back through your tumblr a lot easier. If you're wondering how to tag/what tag to use, ask any of your senior officers and we'll be happy to help you.

9. MATURITY

You have to be at least 16 years old to apply. If you're turning 16 within a month and wish to apply, that's perfectly fine. We won't make you wait a month if you're really passionate about applying.

10. HAVE FUN! :D

The most important rule of all and the one I live by. Just have fun! Explore your character, get creative, and be involved. Trust me, you won't regret it.
