As you may have noticed with the podcast, I've not uploaded any episodes in the last couple of weeks or so, and there is a reason why that has been very aggravating to me.

For the last couple of months, I have been dealing with a bedbug infestation at home. Despite my efforts to try to combat it myself, it eventually got so pervasive that I had to hire a pest exterminator to get rid of the infestation, and the first bedbug extermination treatment was done yesterday afternoon. The treatment was a near-complete success, and follow-up treatments should completely remove what few bedbugs remain in my house.

As a result of being repeatedly bitten by bedbugs over an over two-month period, I have developed a fungal infection of my skin on several areas of my body. Not long after the bedbug extermination treatment yesterday, I kept reacting to areas of my skin itching as if I was still being bitten by bedbugs, even though I wasn't, because of the fungal infection. Over-the-counter fungal infection cream has helped considerably with this condition.

In regard to seasons nine and ten of the podcast, I will be uploading the remaining episodes of season nine starting tomorrow, July 18, and continuing through the end of August. I have 52 remaining episodes to upload in season nine in a 45-day period, so this will be a very busy period for me. I will begin uploading season ten of the podcast, which I've already recorded a few dozen interviews for, sometime in the first few days of September, and season ten will run from September 2026 to March 2027.

In regard to the video side of the channel, I am still on track to begin uploading AuthorTube and BookTube videos again in September of this year, although the first few videos will be uploaded in the second half of September.

I look forward to finally returning to putting my full effort towards the Apollo Papyrus Podcast and Channel!
