someone tell me why jaemin has “i hate it here” energy 🧐
Jane Austen’s emma is definitely Demiro she said she would never marry unless she fell in love which she believed to not be in her nature and only after spending time and bonding with Mr. knightley did she fall in love with him
I love this headcanon. More of this please.

Is a straight-demisexual apart of the LGBTQ+ community? (sry if i’m annoying you)
People who are attracted to different genders from them and are on the asexual spectrum are all LGBTQ+, at least according to us. Some people disagree, and those are exclusionists. Not to play oppression Olympics, but the bull ace and aspec people get is definitely not punching up.

I think I'm demisexual but I'm not sure and I'm worried that adopting the label is appropriating the LGBTQ experience. I'm cis and straight so while I feel like the definition fits, it doesnt feel like I should be part of this community....
All aspec people are in LGBTQIA+ regardless of who they are attracted to (if anyone). We're the A. It's not just asexual, it's ace/aro spectrums

It’s an explicit quote by the character “I have none of the usual inducements of women to marry. Were I to fall in love, indeed, it would be a different thing! but I never have been in love; it is not my way, or my nature; and I do not think I ever shall. And, without love, I am sure I should be a fool to change such a situation as mine.”
I bet if Jane Austen had aromantic and demiromantic in her arsenal of a vocabulary she'd have used them.

(ps if you want to keep discussing this with me feel free to message me at im-a-commjewnist-you-idiot)
Hey um I have a couple questions? 1. I identify as demisexual and demiromantic can I just say demi? 2. Um I don't feel sexual attraction towards someone until i know them but I still.... like... am attracted to sex.... does that make sense? (I'm demi but I'm horny for the idea of sex? no one in mind just horny?) Am I still demi or am I allo and just confused?
1. Yep! You can call yourself whatever you want obviously, but personally I think just saying demi is fine.
2. That doesn't affect your demi-ness at all! Lots of acespec people have sex drives and/or are sex favorable. Chances are if you're asking yourself and other people if you're allo and faking it you're not, but if you do end up declaring yourself allo just know that it's totally cool to explore your identity.

Hi there! Can I ask a writing question? Basically, my character is demisexual, but he's already happily married when the story starts (or before, I guess). Is there any way I can convey to the readers he is demisexual without going "HEY HE'S DEMI"? Thanks for reading!
Why not just say the words? Personally I think explicitly stated representation is way better. Have him say to another character "oh by the way I'm demisexual" or have his partner say it in some way or another. If we're afraid of the words we can't expect other people to say them.
