the one who’s just smiling like 🙂🙃🙂 at his child especially when they’re still a few months old

would probably have awkward talks with his children

the one who probably makes dad jokes

said child would laugh awkwardly so taeil will feel satisfied

would generally be a quiet dad too??? 

bc he doesn’t rlly know what to say and how to react properly without feeling like he ruined the mood

but for sure, he watches his kid/s closely and would know when something’s wrong

and he’ll try his best to talk to them without being an awkward mess

or omg he’s the one who wakes up his kids when going to school

he makes the children hot choco or like coffee (when they’re a little older) in the morning

would be the dad that reads the morning newspaper and keeps his coffee in one hand

would shower his children with love and rainbows and unicorns

“you want this??? okay, i’ll buy it for you!!! you want that one too??? okay, sure!!!”

his s/o would probably get mad at him for spoiling their children too much

although even if he’s told off, he’d buy everything his kids want anyway

would have a good relationship with his children and would give them great advice

so when his kid has a problem (like life problems, not exactly academic stuff although he’d still try either way), he/she will probs go to him

generally a rlly good father who treats his children like they’re long lost treasures

and wouldn’t hesitate to leave work for them, no matter how small the problem is

the one who’d shower his daughter with kisses and hugs

would also say some cringe-worthy stuff to his kid/s

“my baby’s all grown up now,,,,,,, why don’t you give your dad a big kiss in front of your friends???”

and his child would be like "dad,,,, no,,,, ewww”

would bring his son to the park and teach him soccer

i’m pretty sure he’ll have sports as a regular “dad day” thing

probably the adventurous dad too

would take the children everywhere without permission

and his kid/s would want to be free from him the whole car ride

bc he keeps saying lame jokes and expects a positive response

most likely the dad that teases his children

but at the same time, a really responsible dad who won’t stop talking reminding his kids about important stuff

dID I MENTION HE’S PROTECTIVE??? bc he is

like when his child becomes a teenager, doyoung would probably be like “okay so which one of y’all like my daughter?” in a teasing way

but low-key not really

he’d be glaring hard af at the person that likes his daughter

he’d most likely cook a lot for his children too

he’s just so good-natured that he rlly suits the role as a father

would drive his children to where they want

would buy them food 

would let them do what they want too

aLSO HE’D BE THE TYPE TO BUY LITTLE THINGS THAT REMINDED HIM OF HIS KIDS ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK???

but at the same time, he’d be somewhat strict to protect his children

like if he knew that playtime was over, he would gear up his “serious” face to get his kid/s to study or sleep

it probably won’t work all the time bc he’s too soft for them

oh and i feel like when he’s at home, he’s gonna be all sweet to his s/o

and then their children would be like “ewwwwwww pLS,,,,,, get a room,,,,,”

this guy ain’t the typical “tiger” dad 

like he’d want his kid/s to do well in at least one thing but he’d probably be more lenient than other parents

he wouldn’t care much about his child’s grades as long as they’re is passing

but would want his children to learn performing arts

especially traditional chinese dance/s

he’d probably enroll them in some program for it tbh

OR EVEN TEACH THEM HIMSELF??????? 

but if his child ends up not liking it, he’s gonna be fine with that too

pretty much a chill dad who has dreams for his kid/s but won’t force it on them

bc he wants them to be happy doing what they want

but he’ll still find some way for them to at least adopt one of his hobbies as their own

when he’s alone with his child, he’s probably gonna be so nervous

he wouldn’t know what to do

so he calls his s/o a million times to ask how to go about fathering???

bc he feels so happy to be a dad even if he’s a mess most of the time
