#admin note.

Hello all,

Thank you all for your interest in our group. We are so excited about all of the incredible apps we've received so far. We've decided that we will be opening for plotting tomorrow afternoon, 3/17, at 3pm EST. At that time, the admin team will post the acceptances. Members can then send in an ask requesting the link for the discord server if they'd like to participate in it. We will open for interactions on Wednesday, but the exact timing will be based on member input.

i’m sure you can guess why we’re writing this. and we are sorry that it’s taken so long, we’ve been making some changes to the group inside and out and wanted to wait for the right time to post this. before anyone jumps to any conclusions, no, we are not closing. we’re making some changes to the admin team and the group. by we, i do mean i. at the moment there is one person running the group, removed from the other two admins from before, though i am working with them until i can find additional help with the group. i haven’t run a group in over a year, but i love this one too much to let it go just yet. if i can’t find any help, i will have to close it.

i will say, the decision to kick reed was one that had been sat on for about a week prior to this. i have the proof and i’m glad to share it if need be. but the admins had had issues with this member in previous groups and despite what is believed, there had been several complaints about this member prior and after their removal, more came forward. do i think this was the right time to remove reed? no. but i do think it was the right decision.

another thing, no admins have been sending anons to reed. i discussed this with them extensively and i believe them. they have no interest in continuing drama or sending hate to anyone.

i also ask that you leave members who had nothing to do with the drama out of it. they’ve done nothing wrong.

to my members, i’m really sorry that this has taken so long. it’s been a hard transition. but the previous admins have agreed to help me run this group (with the tumblr blog, specifically) until i can find more help. i just can’t do it alone with my job and mental health.

sorry if this is all jumbled, i’ve never written something like this before and i had a lot to address. hopefully we can move forward from this and the group can continue to thrive under new management. thank you for reading

beginning saturday, may 15, arcana will be hosting weekly game challenges and summer socials (such as plotting events, movie nights, and more) so that members can participate in the event that suits them best. the challenges will have a point value associated to them, and we will keep a leaderboard through the summer months to track who is on top in these games of fate.

Dear wonderful followers, to anyone that has submitted something to the page and it has not turned up, Tumblr is being an utter pain and deleting queued content. A few pieces have gone missing over the past week. I have been able to contact the writers each time to resubmit their work, so until this is sorted, if you don’t see your work very swiftly (we are low on content of late), please ask me if I got it because there is a significant chance that I have not. 

@theterrifyingtermite, chapter 8 of Return is the latest victim of the Tumblr fuckening, could you please resubmit it? I am so sorry to bother you. 

Hello everyone! We have a few announcements to make. Please bare with us if we’re a little slow on responding to private messages and asks, because we are honestly still recovering from acceptances night, as well as preparing things so that we could start with the role play. But please don’t let our slow responses hinder you from sending us messages-- we will respond to them as soon as we can, and we should be back to responding to them in a timely manner once we’re done with everything!

The Arsonists have already been posted on the Arsonists page which you’ll find here. The rationale behind why we chose the specific characters for the specific role in the group will be up later. We encourage everyone to please follow the Arsonists blog right here as that is where we’ll be posting tasks for the Arsonists and where the Ringleader will communicate, as well as post updates regarding the chaos they’re causing within the campus. Obviously, we couldn’t give everyone who wanted to be a member of the Arsonsits a spot in the group and we hope you understand. Just like with the apps, we discussed heavily regarding this matter and had to take a lot of consideration as to which character to accept for the roles. 

We also have some quite exciting news! Because of the unexpected interest, we decided to add four additional OC spots! Yes, four, and you may apply for them as early as right now. Please remember to use the OC application form, as it is different from the pre-made skeletons one. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to send us a message. 

Another news: we’ve discussed about what time interactions should begin, and we thought 9PM EST would be a good time to start. Please let us know if this doesn’t work for you. We want to try to find a time that’ll work for everyone, or at least somewhere we can all meet in between! An OOC chat is also in consideration, but we want everyone’s opinion on which would be the best platform to use. You can reply with your preference to this post, or send us a private message. 

Então gente, doi muito meu coração ter que fazer isso, mas infelizmente está sendo necessário. Várias pessoas reclamaram conosco sobre vácuo e outros players não interagirem direito no chat. E gente, isso não é nem um pouco legal. RP é pra ser um lugar divertido, pra conhecer e interagir com outras pessoas, e desenvolver seus personagens. Sabe gente, não custa nada responder mensagem, arranjar plot pros seus personageens é a melhor coisa que tem, não tenham medo disso! Nós queremos proporcionar um lugar bacana onde todos possam se sentir à vontade, mas não podemos fazer isso sozinhas, certo? Então a gente tá aqui pedindo só um pouco de colaboração, dêem uma olhadinha nos chats pra ver se não deixaram ninguém no vácuo, chequem o activity pra ter certeza que responderam todo mundo, e se perderam muse pra um turno ou chat, é só avisar, não custa nada.
