#admin namjoon

That’s what everyone who’s read the post has told me would be the best option, and after discussing it with Admin Yoongi, I think that’s what we’re going to do: step back, take a breather. Experience some other stuff for awhile.

Right now, Eden is going to be put on hiatus, and I don’t know if or when we’ll come back. A part of me is sad, but another part of me is a little bit ready to move on, at least for a little while, and wait for a better opportunity to put Eden’s plot to use. I think, in any case, our best shot is to close for a little while and come back if we feel up to it. That’s an if-- Eden has stressed me out more than I’ve enjoyed it these last few months, and it might take awhile for me to be able to come back to it and sincerely want to work on it again.

But that doesn’t mean we won’t be around! In fact, I already have another pet project in the works at the moment that, with the closure of Eden, I plan on opening sometime in the future that will definitely be-- interesting. It’s nothing like Eden, though, in more ways that one: my primary goal while making it was for it to be lower maintenance, something which Eden... definitely... is not. Point being, though: even if, in the end, Eden is closing permanently, this won’t be the last you see of us. I can definitely promise you that.

And hey, maybe a break is a good thing. I’ve lost touch with the plot and I no longer feel like I can execute it properly while still having you all along for the ride, so I think it’ll be good to look it over again and work out the kinks. And hopefully, finally figure out how the hell to work out the rp kinks of those damn androids that prevented me from opening them up sooner.

I love you guys, okay? Thanks for being with us this far. Sorry for leaving this with a blank page, but I like to think that’s a good way to leave potential for the future. Eden is still my baby, and we’ll see what happens.

It’s disheartening to make this sort of decision, but unfortunately-- life has gotten to the best of us admins. It’s sad, it really is! I’ve wanted to roleplay with all of you, but I suppose this is inevitable considering both of us has been occupied with school and other things, especially since we’re in the midst of our last year. 

Maybe one day, we’ll be able to bring it back-- and I hope so, because Admin Namjoon thought of a really great plot. I might be considered biased, but I’m sure the members can agree! I’ve done my best trying to help out with it, but trust me, Admin Namjoon gets a bunch of credit for this. 

I feel bad for hardly being here, and I had been looking forward to what Eden can bring to all of us. But it’s been a bad time, and all we can just do is put it on an indefinite hiatus. I wish you guys all the best really. I love all of you. I hope to see you guys again in Eden one day, and if I don’t-- I’m sure we’ll bump into each other in other roleplays. <3

Aye there, your trusty Mod Taehyun here. I -- guess the admins really put the ice cream on the sundae with all their words and stuff, so-- I don’t actually have anything too smart to say here. It’s always sad to see something go (especially after there has been so much work and dedication from both the admins and the members), but... well, I guess it’s time to turn a new leaf.

Personally, I’ll probably be retiring Tumblr rps for a while (again), so I can focus on life and all that boring stuff... but hey! You’ll still have your trusty admins roaming out there in the Tumblrverse!
