I am a Storm Writer 🌊

Writers of the storm, the rain, and the snow. Angst is your element. You mastered the art of making it hurt, in every way. That quiet hurt of a smile on a crying face. Your words whisper to the lonely ones that they’re not alone. You are able to show your readers a universe where everything’s okay, and even if it hurts it’s okay, because being sad is a feeling that deserves to be felt. Yells against the dark of the night. Screams of rage and hurt, tears running down soft cheeks and white knuckles. You are there, screaming with them. Angry at the unfairness, and fighting it, in the first place it attacks you. In the heart. And you’re the hand, offered to the hopeless. With a delicate smile on your lips, you help people stand up again. The storm writer, the one who knows how it feels, to be screaming in the void, and doesn’t want anyone else to live it too. You are the storm writer, but you’re able to build beautiful reigns of ice and snow, and offer comfort to the ones who seek it.

I think I kinda agree with this? Maybe... 😂 What do you all think?

when he isn't out and about and causing a ruckus, you can bet that he's either sleeping or up to no good. that, or somebody said or did something that might've upset him, which is very unlikely

Okay I know that it been a bit since we've posted, but so far I have 15 requests finished and Admi Sapphire has 11 done, so please be patient.

Speaking of Admin Sapphire, she is a close friend that I've known for a while now that, along with her younger sister (@lovelypasteldreams ), have been cheering me on and encouraging my work since before I even set eyes on Tumblr. (I started on Quotev lol)

In all honesty, she even wrote for me before I even proposed her the idea of her joining this blog with me, and I think that's what set it for me.

She actually wrote the smut scenes from Love Me Kindly, because Lord knows I can't write it, I fluster too easily 😅

So everyone please give a warm welcome to Admin Sapphire, our smut and fantasy fanfic expert. She's been writing since she was five, and even wrote her own book at seven!

I've read her work and am blown away each time. I hope you all will grow to love her like I do.

We are still looking for maybe 1 or 2 more admins, so anyone interested please message Admin Sapphire (@terminallyvolatile ) and we will hold a small interview, no biggie.

Clayton

He claims to be a tough nut to crack, virtually impossible to make him laugh - those claims are all false. Jokes that require long windups or are basically ciphers to everyone else are what make him laugh... he’s just generally unfunny but finds what isn’t funny.... funny. Clayton absolutely nerds out with puns and if you can’t understand him then he’ll be heavily disappointed.

Edward

He’s pretty topical with his humour. It’s ever shifting and really just depends on his situation - what he laughs at today will probably earn a deadpan face from him tomorrow. Terribly so, he laughs at the things you aren’t supposed to laugh at and is pretty disappointed at himself for it. Edward Midford is not the same person when he’s making shitty jokes.

Soma

Disgustingly predictably so, he’s an absolute pun-loving demon that cannot be stopped. It fuels him even more when he’s told to stop - it’s a position of absolute power. If you try to ignore him, he’ll repeat the pun again but even louder. Soma is a chaotic person and his puns are equally as chaotic. You will literally never ever escape.

Joanne

As the most wholesome out of all of these boys... his jokes are only laughable if they’re cute. Sure, he can be funny, but that’s with effort. His definition of funny actually comes out in physical and cute humour - stuff that’s cute and isn’t offensive to anyone is what makes him laugh and smile a bit but he’s not a full on howling laughter kind of person.

Cheslock

His chat history is basically a bunch of hieroglyphics. He just utters such depressingly dark and self-depricating humour so you can definitely tell who he is in Cards Against Humanity. Of course, he knows he should probably dial down his humour in front of people he doesn’t really know but... what’s even funnier is the look of absolute mortification on peoples’ faces.

Eden: He’s an absolute sweetheart, isn’t he? You can’t help but love him!

He’s well aware of his meekness and lack of ‘masculinity’. He’d like to be treated like more of a man obviously, but it’s not something that presses so heavily on his mind. More importantly, he believes that he’s mostly been influenced by his older sister that he loves so much and he trusts their teachings more than the opinions of someone he couldn’t care less about.

Joanne’s learned feminine skills like cooking and sewing because he believes it’s ungentlemanly to leave all of the household work to one’s partner… and that these shouldn’t be skills that are inherently feminine. He’s not remarkable in these areas but at least he’s still useful. Anyone who can’t do these basic skills is just, dare he say, an idiot.

Younger kids really do look up to him as a perfect student; kind, academic and athletic, they can’t find many reasons to hate him. During his incident with Maurice, it was only the lads in the year below him that supported him. Though it was only because they didn’t know so much about the influence of the P4, it was still welcomed friendship.

He doesn’t have much intention of becoming the Red House prefect in the future. He’d readily accept that position if he were to receive it, but he’d rather survive school with the best possible grades rather than heavy responsibilities. Joanne believes that he has many more capable peers that would do better anyways.

Joanne’s always been a good kid. But the instances where he ends up with a Y? Those times are basically the end of the world for him. Nobody would expect him to do anything incredulous… but a missed homework task? This kid instantly becomes ten times more talkative as he vents to anyone who’ll listen to how bad he feels for not turning in an assignment. 

His well-reading is no joke. Though it doesn’t exactly make him more popular (he still has no idea what Mr. Michaelis meant by that) he’s still amazingly interesting to whoever talks to him. His insight into the limits of man when talking about Frankenstein aren’t just detailed but somewhat terrifying… who knows what other kinds of ideas are hiding in that “creative” mind of his.

Eden: We’re very uneducated when it comes to the zodiac but this was done to the best of our abilities.

Clayton - Capricorn

Yes. The sign of the goat; this explains why Clayton is literally Satan. Asides from that, he’s ambitious and practical, ready to work hard to achieve his goals. There’s no noble reason or something towards that, he just wants to be the best that he can. He’s not the most patient of Capricorns but he can make adjustments to whatever goes wrong in his life, he’s relatively quick thinking and adaptable when he wants to be.

He faces a dilemma between his ambition and his safety - he’s definitely not a risk taker, but realises where it benefits him. Mostly he sticks to careful planning and tradition over anything else. He wants stability in his life above all things and doesn’t like feelings of unrest.

Edward - Aries

His dedication and determination are what showcases him as a perfect example of an Aries. Edward is always first of men to take initiative in anything, drawing in others with his charisma and leadership skills - he’s ready to take the plunge into something unfamiliar if he’s calculated his risks.

However, he still can be pretty impulsive and stubborn, caught up in his own ways as “the right and proper way”. Of course, he could take on so many challenges and overcome them with ease, but sometimes he doesn’t pick his battles correctly. It’s easy to get into an argument with him so it’s best to agree to disagree with him.

Soma - Leo

Outgoing and energetic, Soma’s energy revives absolutely everyone and everything. He’s eager to fight for a noble cause, extremely loyal to those his heart is invested in - and that’s a lot of people. True, he can be very opinionated and stubborn when it comes to his ideals, but he doesn’t mean anything against someone when they don’t find common ground.

He’s ever warm and enthusiastic, a key player to any team he finds himself in. Mostly he’s a motivational person but he’s not afraid to take charge when he’s called up to the plate. He can excel in all matters but this leads to his excessive pride in himself; trying to take him down a peg may result in upset feelings from either side.

Joanne - Cancer

His shyness is an obvious indication of his alignment as a Cancer. Joanne’s very averse to initial strong approaches towards him, meaning that he’ll shut himself away and either try to avoid that person or be pretty unreceptive to the conversation. He does things at his own pace and hates being hounded upon something.

Though, it’s not like he’s entirely anti-social - maybe, he’s more sensitive. His distance to others is something that he hates but he’s ever so gentle with those he loves and affectionate towards them. He’s polite and chivalrous. There’s no way you could catch him being intentionally horrible to anyone.

Cheslock - Scorpio

As far as stereotypes go, Cheslock’s got the sting of a Scorpio. He doesn’t have time for what’s not important to him and works hard on what he values. His curiosity is evident in his fascination with every instrument he learns, mostly by himself since he has the intuition for that. The opinions of others don’t matter but he’ll take some of them into account - just some. 

Eden: Imagine being in that era with absolutely no sports other than cricket and football (which only started getting rules at the time). That sucks so here’s some modern sports for these losers to play.

Clayton

He is definitely pretty terrible at sports. The amount of times he had broken his glasses during P.E classes is honestly disgusting. He may be tall but he can’t dribble a basketball properly. He lacks strength and stamina but somehow ended up on the rowing team. Of course, he can strategise properly. Though he knows very well that he’s physically behind his peers, he still strives hard to get to their level.

Edward

Of course his talents in horseriding, fencing and any sport of a high class man has been studied earnestly by Edward. Though, if he was torn away from cricket which some have joked to be his first love then he’d still shine in Rugby and Football. Team sports are important to him and he doesn’t really find much fun in solo-sports. Though, if you went up against his team in class, you knew that you were pretty much dead meat.

Soma

This guy is infuriatingly amazing at whatever sport he puts his mind to. His pride rests in his ability in raibenshe and kalaripayattu, dancing martial arts that show off physical prowess, rhythm and flexibility. While he does practice martial arts for self defence at all, Soma was drawn in by the absolute trust you put in those you practice with, having learned from a young age. Though he is finding interest in more martial arts, like capoeira, he isn’t too invested in sports.

Joanne

He insists that he’s not too sports but Joanne’s always a valuable member to any team. He’s quick to pick up on strategies and has amazing team communication, but he’s pretty weedy in stature so he sticks to lacrosse and netball. Joanne’s also pretty okay at volleyball but he’s stuck to playing as libero every single time… being short really does suck.

Cheslock

Eden: I... didn’t have too much to write about them? They’re both really boring people imo but I still love them. Hope this is fine.

Of course like the good students they are, they study together a lot. It helps having someone to teach you in the older years but someone who can remind you of last year’s material is an absolute gift. Lawrence is superior by a long shot with literature and knows the classical texts like the back of his hand so he tests Clayton a lot on quotes and literary technique. Clayton gets a little cocky with his knowledge of science but can definitely be taken down a peg when Lawrence reminds him of his place.

For a close brotherly friendship… they do argue a lot. Lawrence prefers expressive instrumentalists while Clayton is more of a fan of virtuoso opera singers. Neither of them have any eye for art but they’ll vehemently argue over the skill of Sir Paton and Sir Landseer - on pretty much everything they have opposing opinions. They’re both really dogmatic in their opinions but they don’t hold their arguments against each other. It’s not arguments that result in anger but rather they’d like to see it as… “civilised debate.”

They are incredibly enthusiastic about what they can agree on. The only times you’ll ever see them flailing their hands with enthusiasm is when they catch each other reading a book they both like or over something stupid like that. They also converse in a mix of French and Latin to each other but it’s ultimately the most pretentious bullshit you can ever hear from anyone.

Lawrence’s sisters are absolute demons around him. The little ones won’t stop pestering their older brother about when Clayton will come over - somehow they look up to that guy as if he’s a second font of all knowledge (the 1st obviously being Lawrence). The older sisters however… think that he’s an absolute nerd. “No wonder the two of you hang out together so much.”

At first, Clayton pretty much kissed Lawrence’s ass. Anything and everything that Bluewer asked for, Clayton would get for his upperclassman, because that’s what he should’ve been doing. Eventually, Lawrence was actually the one who told him to chill, not being used to such ‘pampering’. Clayton at first thought it was his fault, but Lawrence assured him that it was his own fault for taking advantage of his fag.

The one time when Lawrence was sick and let Clayton fill in his duties… lead to disaster. Nobody could take him seriously and the dorm fell into absolute chaos. To be fair, nobody actually takes Lawrence seriously either, but the second they saw him trudging out covered in his bedsheets, a single glare was enough to get everyone to put things back to normal. Clayton never questioned Lawrence’s authority again.
