"What? Is my love for you not important?" You roll your eyes, grabbing his hand. “Dork.”

“We're sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service.” He chuckles at your message, shaking his head, already on the way to the library with a coffee in hand.

With the morning light shining in your eyes, Donghyuck couldn't resist staring. His fingers gently trace along your face then stopping at your lips. Pink, plump and so close. Giving in to temptation, his admiring gaze progressed to soft kisses, leaning in for another and another and another. "I can never get enough of your lips," he murmurs close, his lips barely grazing against yours when you smile.

Without noticing your frown, he lifts a drawing of two people holding hands surrounded by hearts. “Look, it’s us!” he proudly smiles. 

Best friend!Donghyuck thought about prom. His hands on your waist, swaying to a slow song, as he complimented the way the light danced in your eyes. He wanted to lean in and kiss you, to admit he was in love with you all these years. But standing here, he swallows those words and listens to your sworn vows to another man, silently wishing he had confessed on that dance floor years ago.

“You know, this isn't what I meant," You sit up on your bed. "I wanted help to not oversleep, not deprive me of sleep!"

In the middle of a scene, Actor!Donghyuck claims the cure to the ‘poison’ was true loves kiss. You mentally scoff at his sly attempt of stealing a kiss. Under the spotlight, you glance for a sign of instruction from the director but he was just as lost for words. Instead of humoring him, you pull a Hans. “If only someone loved you,” you respond, leaving the audience and Actor!Donghyuck in utter shock.

You and Donghyuck sit on the kitchen counter eating a bowl of cereal to satisfy your ‘midnight’ cravings.
