Akechi cuts a lone silhouette under the stark white streetlights. He pulls his coat tighter around himself, feeling the late January chill deep in his bones. The hour is late and hardly anyone is about, but he finds himself stalking through one of the most opulent neighbourhoods in Tokyo. He continues on, ignoring the strife brewing in his head.

Because surely this was a terrible idea. Yet he found himself ruminating over her suggestion. The kind hand that had been offered to him from, what should be, the least likely source.

Haru Okumura didn’t owe him anything.

In his mind, she also had no reason to acknowledge him any further than required to complete their mission. Theirs was and alliance of necessity, tense and reluctant. At least, that had been Goro’s impression of the situation and he could hardly blame her for handling him from as great a distance as possible. He had made her an orphan, after all.

His thumb drags over the phone in his pocket and hesitates momentarily.  He shakes his head as if throwing off the self-doubt that was holding him back and takes it out tapping out a message swiftly with numbing fingers.

{To: Okumura, Haru}: It’s Akechi. {To: Okumura, Haru}: I’m at the park a block away from your place. {To: Okumura, Haru}: If you’re awake, I’d like to speak to you.

Where does he even begin with this? The immediate twist of this conversation’s path immediately caused steam to puff from his collar and for a furious shade of red to color his face. ‘D-- Did she.. hey did she really just..!?’ Do you know how rare it was to get the bonafied beauty thief to swear? That alone was a moment to frame on a damn picture wall! And here it was! Being used to go and try to set him on some supposed proper path!

Gods. Of all the things to go and find attractive to boot, why now in a serious situation, why was Haru saying ass of all things something that gave his heart a kickstart in speed rates? Mindless words began to sputter as he draws his hands up, waving them in some asinine fashion as if she could magically pick up on what would normally be mime language.

’ do it if you must then. ’ punch her kanji, do it ya wuss

I was honestly wondering what happened to them for a while, I really missed them.  When I saw them back on the dash a while ago, I was pretty ecstatic.  They were always a good friend and a kind and generous soul.  Their Akihiko is equally amazing and I had a lot of fun developing the relationship between him and Ryuji.  With any luck we can resume that relationship!

They were another blog that I didn’t see for a while and someone I sincerely missed and would think about a lot.  Seeing them back on the dash means more to me than words could ever say.  They’re someone who has always been nothing but good to me and kind to me.  My amazing mobile banner was actually made by them! Beyond that, they’re a quality Haru and just a genuinely nice person.

They are probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet on here.  They’re just such a nice mun at heart and so nice to converse and talk with, I honestly feel bad that we haven’t had a chance to really kickstart our ship because it’s jut been so fun - it’s just such a wholesome and caring ship crafted with so much detail and love.  The mun honestly has a good heart and is someone who always keeps their head up - they would be the first to comfort someone who was upset or needed help.  Truly just a nice person at their core.

Sere’s another really great mun - I remember once she gave me a ton of icons for Ryuji, like a ton and she totally didn’t have to do that and that was just really nice of her - and I think that just sums up who she is - just a genuinely nice and kind person.  She’s another person I haven’t really had a chance to talk with recently but I will always remember her kindness and her generosity.  Top notch Joker as well.

Apparently the running theme of this ask is gonna be ‘muns Jassi lost touch with’ - ha, wasn’t exactly intentional but I’m quite happy to include this mun among this list of other amazing muns.  They were always nice to me - they’re just one of those blogs where even just seeing them on the dash perks you up a little, if that makes sense…? I don’t know, I just always got a sense of happiness and comfort whenever I saw their blog.  They’re just someone who’s genuinely nice - plus they have a multi-muse blog and I will never stop broadcasting how much I love those, especially ones that consist of original characters.
