Gear Up for Adventures in "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery"
September officially ends this week and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is getting ready to kick off the Halloween season. We can’t wait. Let’s dive into everything September had in store for players.
One of our favorite ways to start a Hogwarts Mystery update is with the Magical Milestones event. September’s look, Magically Plaid, is the perfect fall look for any activity your character may wish to do. Where can we find a plaid flannel like this for our closets?

September always means back to Hogwarts for Harry Potter fans, and Hogwarts Mystery made sure we all felt the love. Players received rewards for this special occasion including a new dorm chair every week and finding the Head of Houses in classrooms. Which chair was your favorite?
In our last update, Quidditch was taking over our storylines with new Chapters to explore. In Chapter 9, we teamed up with a friend to find some long-lost gear to give us an advantage against the Wellnelly twins. A successful mission brings us to a meeting with our team in Chapter 10 and we discuss the best tactics to win the match. After some suggestions, we’re thinking about getting on the twins’ level and playing minds games, but will it be worth it?
After you’ve caught up on Quidditch, it’s time to dive into the rapidly evolving storyline for Year 7. After the emotional rollercoaster that was Chapter 42, 43 starts out with us convincing our friends we’re truly on their side. A visit with our father and Professor Dumbledore gives us additional insight and we journey to Hogsmeade. After arriving back at Hogwarts, we realize a friend has something wrong with her memory and of course, we have to investigate this.
Chapter 44 begins with hesitation from one of our friends to view their memories, but ultimately, it’s for the greater good. We decide to let Jacob in on the recent events we’ve encountered and our father unknowingly is about to receive an owl from Professor Dumbledore leaving our story unanswered once again.
Something that can make getting through these Chapters easier is the return of one-tap tasks. We can now do a lot less tapping as long as we have the energy to spend. One tap is all it takes.

Dealing with everything in-game has a lot of us feeling outs of sorts – especially Tulip. She’s worried the Sorting Hat made a mistake and placed her in the wrong House. In a special adventure, we agree to help her sort out her feelings and make her feel at home.
No update is complete without mentioning our furry friends in Hogwarts Mystery. For all the Crookshanks fans, you can now buy the pet skin and have your very own Crookshanks. In honor of the release of the Thunderbird creature and the special adventure to go along with it, you can get a personalized Thunderbird owl look and both of these looks are beyond adorable.

September has given us a lot, but we’re ready for the jack-o-lanterns to take over the castle. Hopefully, there won’t be a troll in the dungeons, but if so, we think we have a good crew in-game to handle it. What are you excited to see in-game for October?
