Ott Consulting Inc. aided the Borough of Alburtis in obtaining the necessary funding through a Multi-Modal Program Grant for Walnut Street.

  The work was between 2nd & 3rd Streets and between the southern school driveway and S. Oak Street. The goal of the Borough is to remove foot traffic from the street and to provide a clear and protected route to school and recreation facilities along Walnut Street.   Curb, sidewalks, and ADA ramps will be installed on the west side of Walnut Street. The proposal also includes the installation of a storm sewer system to improve drainage. The Borough road crew will then repave the portion of Walnut Street from Third Street to Front.
