Designed by former Marcos designers Dennis and Peter Adams at Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, as an investigation into extremes of styling. Powered by a mid mounted Austin 1800 B series engine the car stands just 34 inches high, the front wheels being 10 inches and the rears 13 inches. With entry via a glass panelled sliding roof. Exhibited at the 1969 British Motor Show it won a design award for the best British styling. Car were powered by a BMC B series engine of 1798cc, bored out and race tuned by Janspeed Engineering breathing through a Weber DCOE 40 carburettor .Only three were ever produced. The first - AB/2, license plate MJO 145H – was sold to American songwriter Jimmy Webb. The second - AB/3, license plate PWV 222H - was sold to Cream bassist Jack Bruce, who then gave it to his musical partner in Bruce & Laing, Corky Laing, as a birthday gift. The third car AB/4, license plate JFB 220H - was owned originally by Robin Gibbons of England. Robin Gibbons lent Stanley Kubrick his Probe 16 (AB/4) for use in filming in his 1971 film, A Clockwork Orange.
