hi! so this is the official tag coining post for #actuallyfelidae

i got the idea from someone else originally (cant exactly remember ur user I'm so sorry) but I'm gonna be coining it for felinekin

this is also my first time coining a tag, so I apologize if this isn't how it works

actuallyfelidae is made for

felinekin, whether it be big cats or domestic housecats and anything in between

feline-adjacent mythical creatures, or mythical creatures with a strong connection to felines (ex. winged cats, some types of chimera, manticores, sphinxes, etc.)

i would kill to be a caninekin in this community

im so tired of felinekins being pushed aside in this community--and for what?? why are we so rare here??

it feels like until you awaken a vaguely canine kintype you arent a "real" nonhuman

and no, I'm not saying caninekins don't suffer, im just saying that maybe it would be nice to be able to look under the alterhuman tag and find something I can actually relate to for once.

and I'm trying to post more about my lynx kin type but I'm lwk scared its fading bc I haven't felt super connected to it recently and I almost always feel more lynxlike in the winter so wtf is going on
