Hi, me and my family are homeless and trying not literally die this summer due to the heat. In order to do that (plus provide ourselves a stable-ish living space and basic hygiene) we need to be able to stay at a campground.

35CAD (25USD) is the rate per night, adjusted to include paypal fees. We have other expenses too, including food, cooking gas, vehicle gas, and storage bills.

Anything can help us a lot, boosts are appreciated, small amounts add up, etc.

Autistic women, POC, and LGBTQ are often misdiagnosed, undiagnosed, and need their voices to be heard.

A full-grownwhatever autistic adult is of course not going to be like an autistic child that your friend, cousin, etc has.

It’s also not a compliment or up to you to remind someone they are “not like other autistic people.” For what ever reason you felt it was okay to say so.

Autistic adults have a terrible employment percentage.

Autistic kids need to know it’s okay to be neurodiverse and need options catered to them in their time. Not put to the side or in a category but individualized.

Not every autistic person is an advocate or wants to talk about being autistic and that’s okay.

Just because an autistic person is sociable and friendly does not mean they aren’t autistic. Non-sociable autistic people aren’t mean-spirited people automatically. Or intentionally being rude all the time.

Some autistic people will grow up to need ongoing care and group homes for the rest of their lives. Others will grow up to have jobs, licenses, homes, and so on. And a larger chunk will be in varying mixed experiences. They all deserve a better quality of life and need improved services.

I got this Mobii Ball in the mail last week, and I’m really liking it so far! This is the medium-sized one, but the rings themselves are incredibly light. The metal has a nice, smooth texture that feels good on the fingers, with no jagged edges on the seams of the rings. The ball itself is flexible enough to respond to being squeezed in a satisfying way. It’s much more dynamic and less uncomfortable than a fidget spinner. I love the shapes the rings can fall in and the patterns the colors make.
