You know, aside from the completely ridiculous CD-ROM compatibility (I mean, they’d have to somehow have a disc drive plus Windows installed on it, on top of everything else) and the bafflingly pointless TV tuner and cigarette-lighter adapter, you could probably actually make this thing nowadays.

Action 52 - Bubblegum Rosy level 1 glitch

This actually happened a few years ago and I discovered that I still had the savestate.

I am not entirely sure how this happened. It seems to have involved loading a savestate after dying on level 2. For reference I was using VirtuaNES.

As you can see this does appear to be level 1 yet Rosy is in the car from level 2 and the screen scrolls vertically. Eventually it just ends and you transition to a normal level 2 and then on to 3. I did not bother to really play level 3 here but it looks to be normal and I doubt that when it loops back to level 1 that it would be glitched like this again. But I haven't tried it out.

The car is somewhat horizontally scroll locked. Although this can be partially remedied by pushing down after moving. It's best to try and stick to the far right of the screen for less deaths.

There was actually more to the glitched level than this. But this is the area where I savestated after realising that I should preserve this for later. Before the section with normal level 1 graphics the entire thing was corrupt with random falling Rosys.
