daeron smth smth a second “foot whipping” tonight? maybe he was being facetious meaning more slap on the wrist or got chewed out. but if he WASNT. then that means theyre beating these princes. nice. on the bottom of the feet too, so they know how to beat someone without it leaving visible bruises.*

i had a thought. that daeron losing egg wasnt an accident. when egg tells his story about aerion to dunk, daeron is not suprised to hear it. he knew what was going on. egg says that daeron shaved his head. literally why would he do that unless he was trying to hide eggs identity. i think he was maybe trying to free egg.
building on that. that the trial of the seven is more about aerion punishing daeron and egg for trying to run away than dunk for beating his ass. like yes that was a huge blow to his ego but the bigger humiliation is him finding out that his brothers are trying to pull a fast one on him.
i told my mom this and she said why wouldnt they have just told dunk that. that their plan was to have egg run away. you know what. i dont know.
