I can’t bring myself to watch #SurvivingRKelly but in a year of action, my thoughts. Like now that we know these things happen. 1) Ask any female family member or someone close to you have they ever been molested or raped? Find a good way to approach this based on your relationship with that person. No one is the same or seek professional guidance of how to address this especially for different age groups. 2) If yes, find a way to ask them if they would like counseling or to report the crime. If they say no wait for some time and ask again it's painful and you must be patient and sensitive. There are resources that can help with this matter. 3) After they chose a route offer to be their support system. It is their decision to report or just maybe not wanting to talk about it at all. Your only goal is to be supportive and let them know they are appreciated, loved and this should have never happened no matter the circumstances. 4) Instead or a hard bottle of liquor to deal take $50 and donate it to a organization that addresses these issues or offer to help pay for counseling for the woman you are trying to help out. If you aren't doing this we aren't fixing anything and just talking to be heard. Deleting his music won’t change or muting him won’t change the larger issue. All victims need to be heard. And with the viewership and money made Lifetime should pay and support all the victims with counseling as needed. #ActionsOverRage https://www.instagram.com/p/BsSF-XZBs5Z/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1wou2shtc2x5n
