ACTA is a āTRADE AGREEMENTā, that means that it is neither a law nor a treaty. The trade agreement allows countries to work in alignment on certain matters. It is similar to SOPAĀ and PIPA in that it will battle copyright infringement, but this trade agreement to patents, counterfeit goods and intellectual property rights.
