last night i tried to design a PTSD creature called AFK but i didn't quite like my sketches.
(obligatory: I have PTSD)
this was the basic premise:
a stout animal with two stubby feet, similar to a jubjub or a furby. two floppy ears. with wide eyes looking upwards, as though lost in thought. and a mouth like this: ^
the AFK is an animal that is constantly shivering, like a small chihuahua. it is often reliving a flashback/disassociating (hence "AFK"/away from keys) and it is easily startled. despite this, the AFK is a very sweet animal, and likes to do nice things for its friends. and if a friend is threatened, the AFK stays calm during the situation and is an effective protector.
AFKs carry items with their ears or mouth, as they do not have arms. AFKs can also float a very small distance by flapping their ears.
