Iโm listening to the ACOTAR audiobook for the first time because it was free with my Spotify subscription, and,,, Iโm sorry but I just donโt get it. The premise doesnโt make much sense and Feyre is so beyond annoying and immature. And the writing is justโฆ kinda bad? Iโve gotten lost in the descriptions so many times and the amount of flowery metaphorical language is a lot. What does โwatery bowelsโ even mean? Is SJM saying that Feyre was about to shit herself? Why would Tamlin not only spare the human who killed his friend in cold blood but also treat her like a princess in his own court? It ๐ doesnโt ๐ make ๐ sense ๐

One thing about me is that I'm an ACOTAR hater till the day I die. Unfortunately, my coworker is an avid fan and has been listening to the audio books. I made the mistake of snapping "for FUCK'S sake" at a part in the book and she turned it off and we've been working silently. I feel bad because she was genuinely enjoying her book, but I might've put my fist through a wall if it kept playing

Hey are we gonna talk about how ACOTAR is listed under YA on Amazon when it's very, very much not YA? Those books are not only erotica, they're graphic from what I've heard. YA is aimed at around 14-21 year olds most of the time. That's not okay. I've already seen people discuss all the other problematic shit about those shitty books, but I've yet to see people talk about this. There should not be any fucking 15 year olds reading this shist.
