Dinner for a crowd, Saturday night: Burdock root fries, deer barbecue with home made sauce, blackberry cobbler with acorn-flour crust, Wild mushroom quiche with acorn crust, and black bean veggie soup with okra, carrots, lamb’s quarters and garlic. I Bought the butter, the cheese in the quiche and the sugar in the cobbler. The rest of it came from my garden or the woods. . .
