just Levi thinking about his wife in the middle of nowhere...

Missing her as he felt sad after remembering all his dead comrades...

I’m sure most of the fans (Rivamika shippers) already analyzed this beautifully, but I appreciated this scene too much to bring it back again!

First, she saw both Levi and Connie getting hurt but after she killed the titan and shouted at them, only Levi reacted to her (by coughing blood) just to inform her that he’s conscious, barely.

Then she continued to fight but her attention was still on them, and that’s when she managed to see Connie in danger again..

So she yelled at him to get his attention, but still no response!

However, her knight, heard her loud and clear, from that distance and through the noises. Levi who couldn’t stand listening to her scream and not do anything, even when he was badly injured more than anyone else, even though any mere move would worsen his wounds!

Especially when Connie was still unconscious! So?

He gritted his teeth in anger and came to the rescue, endangering himself in the process, not caring for anything else but Mikasa’s desperate scream and Connie’s life.

Nearly losing a leg or more...

If his wife didn’t show up just in time to save his life...

Thankfully Connie woke up and helped his captain 💔

Just a thought; but maybe Levi intended to risk himself instead of just pushing Connie out the way like he did with Jean earlier in the chapter...

As his purpose to give Mikasa enough time to reach them and slice the titan because he couldn’t do it because of the injury? He trusted her greatly to make it happen just in time and she did!

Of course that didn’t stop her from raging at everything right after seeing Levi in that condition, and the rest in helpless situations.
