Anime Central 2024 was a blast!! I made a couple of last minute upgrades to my cosplay (new shoes that I modified and a new collar) Here are few highlights. When I tell you all I nearly screamed when I saw a WHOLE GROUP of the squad in the lobby after my panel I am not exaggerating. 🤩
I wish I could have hung out with them longer but zi had obligations... hopefully we can get in touch and plan for another con because I have never had the whole squad before! It really feels like I was part of rekindling the love for this fandom at the con because there were not nearly as many Yu-Gi-Oh DM cosplayers when I debuted Yuugi in 2018. And now look! I didn't get photos because it was crowded, but there was even a Rex in the artist alley!
I have photos from the meetup on my camera still to go through and I hope my friend got some good shots me and the other Bakura fighting over the leather pants they brought. 😆
If you're wondering, yes my friends were Death (Sandman), Mothman, and Mimzy (Hazbin Hotel) I met the Charlie cosplayer through a mutual friend. I got a pair of Loona ears in the AA because the artist's sales pitch was too hard to say no to. They were adjustable and can be made into floppy puppy ears come on!!
