Performed some major surgery on one of my personal plushies I made. When I originally made this ace bat I thought two layers of minky for the ears would be fine without any batting. Unfortunately it never held its shape too well and often folded in on itself. Even though I made this plush for myself it continued to bother me and since Iβve had renewed interest in my Round Bat pattern I figured why not fix her.
Surgery was straight forward: just pick the seams apart, remove the ears, sew along the existing stitches to attach the batting, and resew the ears into the seam.
Here they are all fixed up! Their ears can finally stand up and hold their shape displaying the flags nicely.
