JIM HAWKINS IS ASEXUAL AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE
imagine ace jim about to have sex with leonard and he hasn't said anything about his asexuality to him and every single time bones asks "is this okay" "are you alright?" "you sure?" he just nods because he doesn't want to let him down or anything but he starts feeling really uncomfortable and he's covering his bare chest with his arms and he's frowning and leonard stops immediately and tells him "okay we're not doing this jim. you're not okay."
and jim's insistent that he's fine and it's all okay but after some gentle encouragement from leonard he admits that he doesn't feel comfortable being exposed to someone like that, it feels embarrassing and wrong and it's not that he has an issue with sex in general but when it comes down to actually doing it he gets really uneasy and bones shakes his head and asks why he didn't tell him and jim says he didn't want to let him down and then obviously cuddling ensues and assurances that their relationship is about more than whether they have sex or not
Imagine academy mckirk with ace Jim, and then later mcspirk and spock is ace too. And McCoy is like ffs but he loves his aces to pieces and he does everything to please them, and Jim and spock always buy him porn and sex toys, and force him into the middle of their cuddle pile

ace!jim really loves the song just a kiss by lady antebellum cause the whole message of the song is that you don't need anything more than just a kiss to make your relationship as perfect and special as any other and he finds that sentiment comforting so sometimes late at night when they're curled up together in bed, bones will sing it to him quietly and jim will just smile and curl closer to the warmth of bones' chest and allow himself to be sung to sleep
dammit ok ace!jim dragging bones and spock along to a pride parade but he gets upset when they watch the entire thing go past with no sign of any kind of asexual representation, so, armed with a few small flags in black, grey, purple and white they join the end of the parade and have their own little ace pride parade and to their surprise a ton of people join in and jim's walking along at the front, holding the hands of each of the men standing at his sides and just beaming
