a headcanon that is popular in the fandom but that i disagree with: idk i think people believe she comes from a “perfect” family but i think there’s some stuff she’s dealt with that explains why she’s so happy go-lucky when we initially meet her

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

OKAY so there are several. Definitely the idea that the Bellas, and especially CR, place bets on Bechloe, because I could see it happening and it is hilarious. Also Stacie being a genius, which is sorta canon with those deleted scenes of her at the campfire. I also like the trope (maybe this is a trope?) of Jesse becoming Beca’s “lesbro” in fics where they aren’t together.

oh my god there are SO many for different reasons!!

i will always be partial to “glee” because it was the first show that told me that being gay was totally an option and it felt like as the show progressed, i grew alongside it. it will always hold a spot in my little gay choir kid heart

“the fosters” because stef and lena are incredible parents and i hope to have a family so beautiful (but hopefully less dramatic lmao)

right now i really am digging “wynonna earp” because it has some of the best representation on tv right now. waverly + nicole’s relationship is treated like any other relationship on the show, but they don’t feel like the novelty gay couple that tv shows sometimes include just to hook lgbt+ viewers. also they’re so pretty

also “one day at a time!!” its got lesbians and non-binary teens & its precious
