was talking w my older sibling last night abt lots of stuff but one of them was abyssmare and how we both kinda wished the part of the americas or the US they were from was obvious.
i know the reason why abyssmare's names are Neo Sophia Elsie Weronika is because they're supposed to be the four directions (north, south, east, west) so we thought it'd be cool if they were. like. from those areas of america(s)
first of all. it'd be funny if soap was from south america but. actually yeah that's it. neo being canadian makes me giggle bc she could know canadian french and all the girls in abyssmare would be impressed at her french., (insert quebec pronouns video iykyk) actually wait thats canon to me now bye
it'd also make sense bc... the east coast v west coast thing (THIS IS A WEIRD COMPARISON I KNOW) is kinda like elsie and weronika's dislike toward each other. weird comparing those two and. like. gang rivalries but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN..
idk the other states/cities well so im just saying weronika's from california mostly bc i know that one but she'd probably be from a city that's more reflective of her backstory. (yet again. IDK AMERICA) elsie's either from washington DC or new york. her being newyorkian would funny bc:
