Lots of writing advice on tumblr. It's been years since I've written fiction in a serious way, but I did write a couple of (bad) novels in my early 20's, a bunch of short stories, and also a few hundred thousand words of LARP writing, and I do have a bacherlor's of science in creative writing (lol).
From what I can tell, there are only three universally applicable pieces of writing advice:
Read a lot (mandatory)
Show your writing to people (mandatory)
Have something wrong with you in a way that is impossible to articulate except by writing a novel (optional)

i dont have too much to say but while i know you're not OP @magpieangels i still value your reply! i'm still reading and learning about the characters
when i saw this (scrolling weronika tag because new obsession need to Eat) i jumped at it because im always down for an aroace headcanon as an aroace person myself. it's a comforting thing to me personally because it's like "hey this character might experience things in a similar way to me!"
take this with a grain (or boulder) of salt because im still getting to know these characters both through reading and interaction with my oomf who got me into d4dj but from what i know i could see weronika feeling love in a unique way that isn't romantic or sexual, but more than platonic. a Secret Third Thing that is more than platonic but goes unlabeled and is special in a way, if you will! this is actually a pretty common way i look at characters but it's just fun for me to do so. i still do enjoy shipping stuff!

WEHHE you get me. i’m a big multiple headcanons multiple ships kinda girl but i can FULLY imagine her experiencing love that isn’t like. traditionally romantic in means. she’s soooooo cool i love her she’s so weird.
HIHI OP HERE I JUST CAME TO SAY I LOOOOOOVE YOUR TAKE ON AROACE WERO SM it's genuinely so good and a lot why i hc her as aroace! i think she has a secret third kind of love (a lot like queer platonic relationships) with all of abyssmare. i do enjoy romantic ships with them as well though, i love knowing other people's hcs and thoughts on the characters so much, it's so much fun..
neo on the other hand i think is aroace in a 'i don't really care for it either way' kind of deal, where she is just kinda living and not great with platonic or romantic emotions and gets them confused while also not wanting to be in a romantic relationship if that makes sense..

wero’s just so shippable i always forget the other options 😭 and aroace neo is fully felt i’ve had fun playing with that in the past. i know this is The Werosophi blog but given that even when i started writing them i didn’t ship them i’ve always thought thag at least my wero ship was in some way a secret third thing. AAAAGH! i love her so much my head begins to explode.:-)

WAHAHAH i can do my best!!! if you’re able to play hards & experts (and they don’t start so terrible, i think there are hard 8s; not sure of your skill level coming in because you play sekai if i remember djshsn) even if not on auto, the hidden gems will be good for you 🙂↕️ i’m fully FTP tho, so i feel you.
i only pull on events i plan on actually playing for (aka: abyss and the occasional unichord) so i have fair luck getting the folks i like in that way, but until you’ve got cards to be able to do that, the best of my luck is bestowed!! 🩷🩵
