He doesn’t get along with the priest. Well, you can’t get along with everyone. A new priest comes to town. He doesn’t get along with them either.
He almost sounds like a growling animal when he’s asleep. What an absolutely awful snorer! He should get that checked out.
Estelle has procured some holy water and offers to share. Drinking it provides magical benefits, after all. Wally politely declines. “But it’s holy water. Wouldn’t it be silly to refuse it?” “I don’t need it. I would rather you have more.” He’s really too generous sometimes.
His castle is a bit far away, so it’s preferable to ride a horse there. But it’s difficult, because the horses always get awfully skittish when they get close. The woods probably just make them nervous, or maybe they can smell the dragon? That must be it.
He’s hit on the head in an accident and knocked unconscious. Cain checks for a pulse and doesn’t find one, but Wally wakes up a few moments later. Cain must not have done it right. Neg, the only one who was looking directly at Wally when the accident occurred, doesn’t tell anyone that he suddenly feels disturbed and blames it on seeing his friend get hurt. That would make anyone upset.

“That it allows me to help people, without a doubt. There’s nothing I want more than to be useful to those around me, and my magic allows me to do that. I really couldn’t be more grateful to have it.”
😥 - Have you ever been singled out for your magic? (Like being bullied, being disowned, etc.)
“Sometimes I worry that I can intimidate others. Thankfully that seems to go away once they know me. But I’ve been told I can have an ominous aura… It isn’t intentional, though! Maybe it’s because I live quite a ways out of town, in a castle in the woods… I guess that is kind of outsider-ish. But it’s the lifestyle that works best for me, so there’s nothing to be done except hope I can win people over.”

🌱 - Do you grow plants for brewing potions or elixirs? If so, what kind of things do you make?
“Sure I do! As I said before, I try to keep my magic arsenal somewhat varied, and potion brewing is certainly a sort of magic. I buy what I can in town; it’s good to support local business! Every once in a while I go on a day trip through the forest to pick up things that grow there. And I do have a little place of my own where I cultivate things that are a little more rare. I try to keep things on hand to make useful things like potions of healing, clairvoyance, strength and the like. Even if it’s something I don’t need, someone else might.”
