Despite her better judgement this was a poorly planned idea. She was still unsure why she was alive again. Was this her reward for being selfless and allowing herself to be siphoned and sent back to the other side waiting for her family to join her one day? She had been in the boarding school all night, unable to leave because the entire town thinks that she, Dr. Josette Laughlin was dead and had been that way for seventeen years. Luckily Caroline had a closet with some clothes she could wear. Her run in with Lizzie the day before had left her aching to comfort her but she knew it would take time. Knocking on Lizzie’s bedroom door she stepped back and waited.

       katherine eyed the decorations, all the fairy lights and fir branches and fake snow and... "wow, you really go overboard with decorations, don’t you?" the vampire gulped because it is overwhelming. so colorful. her eyes hurt. but lizzie is definitely caroline forbes' daughter. they have the same strive to decorate. "don't take it as an insult but it looks like santa threw up here."

Lip gets pulled in between teeth as she takes the great strides to come to be in front of her wife’s sitting frame.    ❝ We don’t have to have kids. ❞    Hope had foolishly believed that her wife had been on the same page when she married her.  Pedro had been a constant in Lizzie’s life and the way she was with that little boy had given Hope the impression that it was something that Lizzie wanted.  Maybe there were somethings that Hope should have asked her wife before the ring slid onto the blonde’s finger three months prior.    ❝ I’m willing to just let it be the two of us. ❞   Willing to give it up.  She almost said those words and that would be wrong to do.

Landon was sitting there reading his book when he felt the weight next to him and looked over to see Lizzie beaming like a moron, that smile meant problems for him. “Oh no, whatever crazy scheme you got cooking in that head of yours, leave me out of it”
