11. “Shhhhh, don’t spoil it now.”

For the commander, breaks are few and far in between. Peepers was lucky to get so much a few hours to himself, much less a full day...

That is, unless he managed to work ahead. Lucky for the commander, it seems that staying up the past few nights did some good in that respect! By the time that morning (a figurative term, of course) came around, Peepers had everything finished and ready. No invasions scheduled, Lord Hater’s breakfast was taken care of... It was a day he could finally have to himself, and he knew exactly what he was going to do with it.

It didn’t take too long to find the nomad, in retrospect. Sure, it took the commander a good hour, but when one is searching the entire galaxy, it was a pretty impressive time frame. The commander approaches Wander carefully and silently at first, before issuing what could technically count as a greeting.

“Good afternoon! It is such a pleasure to see you again.”

She bows her head in show of respect. It had been far too long since she’d seen this little guy. They had such lovely conversations, but she was just too busy to keep up with everyone. It was nice that he came to see her, he must have been busy too. Maybe she’d ask him what kind of things he’d been doing during the time.
