              Happy birthday to the most wonderful, beautiful and kind man I've ever known. An amazing writer and friend, the fiance to end all fiances. Who's selfless and loving, talented and giving. Who gives the best presents and says the cutest things.

Who's been making me happy since JNCO was a thing, Just Nikki ;) still had a catalog and before Angel moved to Los Angeles.

       And he's making tumblr happy, giving a voice to Spike and Lucifer Morningstar with a deep (some might say, 'too deep') understanding of each muse.

The first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired 20 years ago, today. While some people wonder why I still love this show, it has quite literally brought me to the best moments in my life.

Friends. My life long friends showed me a show so we could hang out away from my rather tumultuous home.

RP. While I RPed before BtVS, this is where I found a home and wonderful online friendships that I cherish.

Love. BtVS brought me to the one person I adore most in this world, my fiance. ❤

Passion/Livelyhood. I watched a show that made me fall in love with creating monsters and fashion trends. The cast themselves told me I should follow my dream. And so I did.

This was more than a supernatural TV show to me. It made a difference in my world. It taught me about the kind of person I should be and the many mistakes that will be made. It made me who I am.

So the happiest of anniversaries to this wonderful show. Thank you Buffy.

It’s been quite a long day of artwork and  starters. I have three replies to get to, hopefully tomorrow, if not, by Saturday at the latest... 

For now, my darling girl is online and I’m going to cuddle up and synch watch Lucifer with her. We’ve graduated from1st season, onto 2nd. I’ve come to like our date night ritual. I’ll have her caught up before season 3.

I really do. I’m so honored that you follow me and my muse. Please know you don’t have to by shy. I don’t bite.  Well, maybe Lucifer, but that’s a whole different ball of wax and he means it in the most pleasant way possible.

Even if you’re not an RPer you’re more than welcome to come chat with the mun or ask questions of the character. I love all my followers, whether we talk or not.

PSA:  Don’t create out of character drama. Just DON’T DO IT.

In character drama is great, that’s the reason we write. Drama between characters is what makes a story interesting, but no one wants it in their out of character life.

Don’t know what OOC Drama is? Here are some examples:

Do not copy other people’s posts by re-blogging EVERYTHING they post on their blog.   Yes, reblog some things or like them for later, that’s great you like the same things!  But remember you can do things like Google or Tumblr search and follow many blogs for content. Heck, create your own! Make your blog your own. Don’t copy answers in fill-out memes. Sure if you play the same character as someone you may have similar ideas, but be creative! Play your character, your own way. Don’t try to be someone else.

Do not claim another RPers blog as your own, if it’s not yours. That person doesn’t run that RP blog, I do! NOT COOL. Be honest with people, because the truth is people have ways of finding out it’s not you. Why create animosity? If you appreciate someone’s blog, tell them. Send them praise! Don’t be jealous. Everyone writes and interacts a bit differently.

Not in the relationships you want for your character or do they seem to progress too slowly?  Talk to the RP-er your characters are interacting with. Some RP-ers need to have a certain writing chemistry. Some need to know the other RP-er long enough to feel comfortable. Maybe, they’re not into that ship or the way you play your character. No one expects you to read minds. If they tell you why, please respect their choice. They choose how they play their characters.
